Kyle Bowers’ career has always been rooted in environmental responsibility, from studying Geography and Environmental Science at Coventry University to spending five years in environmental consultancy. Based in SharkNinja’s London office, Kyle joined the company in November 2024 as an Environmental Manager within the ESG team. As SharkNinja continues to grow, his role focuses on ensuring the business remains compliant with environmental regulations worldwide, with a particular emphasis on Extended Producer Responsibility. Through this work, Kyle helps translate wide-ranging global requirements into practical actions that support responsible, sustainable growth.
Outrageously Extraordinary in Action
As SharkNinja continued to focus on reducing packaging waste and improving recyclability, having accurate packaging data became essential. This created an opportunity to bring greater structure and clarity to how that information was measured and used, requiring detailed analysis and tight timelines, and Kyle stepped up.
He built a packaging measurement methodology from the ground up, designing a clear and repeatable approach to calculate SharkNinja’s packaging footprint. His solution transformed complex data into practical insights the business could use with confidence. That methodology is now used more broadly across the business, helping teams approach packaging data with greater consistency as SharkNinja continues to grow.
Known for being efficient, dependable, and always willing to support his teammates, Kyle tackles unfamiliar challenges head on. By exploring new territory and crafting thoughtful solutions, he helps SharkNinja succeed today while building stronger foundations for the future.

What does it mean to be Outrageously Extraordinary?
To me, being Outrageously Extraordinary means going beyond the ‘good enough’ and ‘that will do’ mindset. It means staying curious and digging into the details on all projects that I’m a part of. In my role, it means taking responsibility beyond what is simply compliant, always thinking about what is coming next and building solutions that are robust and future-proof rather than reactive.
True Edge is described as “a key principle of the OE mindset, combining vigilance, innovative insight, and strategic solutions to create a competitive advantage that is exceptionally hard to replicate.” What is your True Edge, or what are you working to build?
My true edge is managing complex local regulations, translating requirements into actionable frameworks used to identify business opportunities. Particularly through work in pushing data collection and quality, I’ve been able to support the business in achieving full compliance, but also pushing several key cost-saving opportunities.
Can you share examples of how you live “OE”?
I’ve lived OE in SharkNinja through taking the lead on our regulatory program in North America, a region where Extended Producer Responsibility laws are developing quickly. I’ve had to acclimatize and learn quickly, proactively tracking emerging requirements and ‘spotting smoke’ well before requirements become mandatory, working closely with internal and external partners to ensure the business is well-prepared. I’ve worked really closely on data gathering projects this year, pushing for data collection, networking internally to improve data we have available, and even visiting our distribution centers to collect data first-hand!
What makes working at SharkNinja special?
What’s special about working SharkNinja is the speed at which things are done, and the trust in its people to do it. I’ve been frequently encouraged to challenge ideas, move fast and take ownership, often regardless of role or function. New ideas/perspectives are always welcomed. There’s no such thing as ‘well this is how it’s always been done.’ Things are constantly evolving.
