Four additional SharkNinja innovations earn special mentions across home, kitchen and beauty
SharkNinja today announced that the Ninja SLUSHi Twist has been named to TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026 list, which features 300 extraordinary innovations changing our lives.
Ninja SLUSHi Twist brings more choice to frozen drinks at home. Two vessels run independently, allowing consumers to make two different flavors at once or combine them into a single swirled drink. Dual SlushAssist ™ Technology senses ingredients and automatically sets the ideal conditions for each side, making it easy to customize drinks for friends and family.
“Our goal was to make great frozen drinks effortless,” said Ross Richardson, Chief Design and Hardware Engineering Officer at SharkNinja. “The real innovation is what consumers don’t see: intelligence that adapts to different ingredients and recipes to deliver the ideal texture. Every design decision, down to the dispensing handle, helps recreate an experience people know and love. Great design should feel intuitive. The technology should disappear into the experience so people can simply enjoy their drink.”
In addition to SLUSHi Twist, Shark ChillPill, Shark FlexStyle IonCurl, Shark FacialPro Glow and Ninja CRISPi Microwave also received special mentions, recognizing SharkNinja’s innovation across home, kitchen and beauty.
To compile this year’s list, TIME solicited nominations from its editors and correspondents around the world and through an online application process, paying special attention to growing fields such as health care and AI. TIME evaluated each contender on originality, efficacy, ambition and impact.
