Vipul is a lifelong learner and problem-solver, diving into cross-functional challenges to drive innovation at SharkNinja. As a Mechanical Engineer, he has spent over two years contributing to a variety of projects, embracing opportunities to explore new domains and expand his expertise. Originally from India, Vipul brings a global perspective shaped by diverse cultures and experiences, helping him approach problems with curiosity and empathy. He joined SharkNinja as a co-op while completing his master’s in mechanical engineering at Texas A&M.
Outrageously Extraordinary in Action
When the Frozen Treats team faced a challenge, creating a slush machine that consistently delivered the perfect texture without requiring complicated settings, Vipul jumped in to help engineer a smarter solution. While testing the machines, he noticed a key pattern. Certain temperatures during the freezing process directly influenced the final slush consistency.
From this insight, he developed SlushAssist, a feature that lets consumers achieve the perfect slush with a single, simple setting. Even with limited resources, Vipul found ways to test and validate his idea, working closely with the team to refine it for launch. His work directly contributed to the SLUSHi Max with SlushAssist, a first-of-its-kind feature that delights consumers and improves their experience.
Vipul’s curiosity and ability to connect the dots have made him a true system-level expert on the Frozen Treats team.

What does it mean to be Outrageously Extraordinary (OE)?
To me, it means not being satisfied with the results and striving for a little bit more with each tiny step. It means always being curious about what else I could be doing with this new information I just received and how it can be used. This lets me connect the dots early in the product development process and helps me see patterns emerging throughout the project – be it consumer needs, the physics of it, or just product behavior in different test conditions.

What’s your True Edge, or what are you working to build?
I think my TrueEdge is being able to make a strong mental model of any project I dive into. This helps me feel connected to the product, understand different use-cases and problems that may arrive early on and proactively set up systems to ensure a well-functioning product.
Can you share examples of how you live OE?
I live OE by picking, poking, and prodding everything and everyone around me to understand my world a little more every day.
What makes working at SharkNinja special?
I enjoy the freedom I have to try new things and being around people who are constantly trying to figure something out. No one knows everything and you get to see how everyone approaches a new problem in their own unique way.
