By reimagining feedback as a tool for connection and progress, Julie empowered managers to turn daily conversations into opportunities for growth.

Meet Julie!

As HR Manager for France & Benelux, she has spent the past nine months partnering with SharkNinja’s EMEA team to foster a culture where people feel empowered to perform at their best. Originally from Guadeloupe, she infuses her work with the warmth, optimism, and openness of her island roots—creating an environment where associates feel supported, motivated, and ready to grow.

Outrageously Extraordinary in Action

When faced with the challenge of engaging managers to build a feedback culture in a fast-paced environment, Julie saw an opportunity to turn everyday conversations into moments of growth. Partnering with the Talent Experience team, she helped lead an Unvarnished Feedback session that empowered managers to give and receive constructive feedback with confidence.

Building on that momentum, Julie spearheaded the rollout of Lattice, SharkNinja’s performance and feedback platform, across France, achieving 100 percent adoption and usage. By pairing the right tools with a human-centered approach, Julie helped embed continuous feedback into the way teams operate, creating a culture where development feels natural.

What does it mean to be Outrageously Extraordinary (OE)?

For me, being Outrageously Extraordinary means showing up every day with purpose, energy, and care, not just to deliver results, but to lift others along the way. It is about refusing “good enough,” challenging norms, and finding ways to make work simpler, faster, and more human. It is the mindset of constantly seeking opportunities to make a difference, both for yourself and for those around you.

True Edge is described as “a key principle of the OE mindset, combining vigilance, innovative insight, and strategic solutions to create a competitive advantage that is exceptionally hard to replicate.”

What’s your True Edge, or what are you working to build?

My True Edge lies in creating environments where people can truly thrive. I focus on making psychological safety, feedback, and recognition part of our daily rhythm. With the help of my People Experience team, I build HR processes and policies that support and empower employees while staying relevant to the unique cultures of my markets. A big part of my work is building trusted relationships with leaders so we can anticipate challenges and create the right conditions for teams to perform at their best.

Can you share examples of how you live OE?

I live OE by designing initiatives that strengthen culture and engagement. For example, I meet bi-monthly with all managers to understand their needs, surface early challenges, and coach them on their managerial skills. Building on that, we now highlight team achievements at every town hall, putting the spotlight on accomplishments and reinforcing a culture where people feel seen, valued, and motivated. These initiatives help drive engagement, performance, and a sense of collective pride across the team.

What makes working at SharkNinja special?

Without hesitation, it is the people. SharkNinja attracts doers, thinkers, and dreamers who thrive on challenge and pace. There is an energy here that pushes you to grow beyond your comfort zone and a trust that gives you the freedom to create. Being surrounded by people who want to win together makes every day exciting.

Please join us in congratulating Julie for being this week's True Edge Tuesday!
