That’s the belief behind Jailbreak SharkNinja, a new challenge inviting our global team to harness AI to solve real business problems and unlock new opportunities across the company. SharkNinja is backing the initiative with $1 million in awards and grants.
Jailbreak SharkNinja reflects the program’s mission: helping teams break through the constraints that slow work down, from manual tasks and legacy processes to the friction that can stand between a great idea and execution.
“AI is going to fundamentally change how work gets done,” said Mark Barrocas, CEO of SharkNinja. “But the people who understand where the biggest opportunities are – the inefficiencies, the friction, the untapped ideas – are the ones doing the work every day. Who better to revolutionize the business than the people inside the business?”
The initiative invites individuals and teams across every function, level, and region to submit ideas that use AI to drive measurable impact. A panel of judges will review submissions on a rolling basis and recognize winning ideas across the company, highlighting how teams are using AI to work faster, operate more efficiently, and unlock new opportunities.
At the end of the year, all winners will be eligible for the program’s top honor: AI Application of the Year, which carries a $100,000 prize for the individual or team whose work best demonstrates the transformative potential of AI at SharkNinja.
The initiative is open to all SharkNinja team members worldwide, reinforcing the company’s belief that breakthrough ideas can come from anywhere in the organization.
