From hands-on projects to full-time opportunities, SharkNinja’s early talent program empowers emerging professionals to learn, lead, and innovate across every corner of the business

At SharkNinja, innovation begins with people, and that includes the next generation of bold thinkers ready to make an impact from day one. In 2025, SharkNinja welcomed early talent from over 100 universities and 50+ functional areas, bringing fresh ideas and creative energy to teams in engineering, product development, design, marketing, and more.

“At SharkNinja, we’re a company of problem solvers,” said Lauren Shortall, Program Manager for Early Talent. “It’s a great environment for you to be able to make an impact right away.”

Through its Early Talent Program, SharkNinja offers both internship and co-op opportunities for students and recent graduates across every level of study, from associates to doctoral programs. Participants gain hands-on experience solving real challenges, contributing to meaningful projects, and seeing their work come to life. For many, these experiences are just the beginning, as interns and co-ops often transition into full-time roles, continuing to grow and lead within the organization.

“I feel like I have a lot of ownership over the projects I work on, being able to drive a lot of early-stage development projects,” said Stephen Jiang, UX/UI intern.

To support early talent journeys, SharkNinja introduced a series of flagship initiatives designed to enrich the early career experience, including immersive orientations, networking events, career development workshops, and end-of-term showcases. These touchpoints foster community, confidence, and connection, helping emerging professionals find their place and purpose within the company.

SharkNinja’s commitment to long-term growth extends through programs like Next Wave Chats, which connect top-performing early talent with recruiting leaders to explore future opportunities. The newly launched Emerging Professionals Network (EPN), SharkNinja’s first employee resource group for early career professionals, also builds lasting connections through mentorship, pairing more than 50 mentors and mentees to promote learning, development, and retention.
